Introduction to Yoga Workshop
An opportunity for Team Building and wellness initiatives, this workshop includes the basics of physical practice (Asanas) in Vinyasa Yoga and include information on relieving stress, increasing mental clarity and reducing lower back and neck pain. No prior yoga experience is required.
Soul Of Leadership & Meditation Workshop
This workshop focuses on Soulful Leadership qualities. The workshop includes a copy of the book The Soul of Leadership by Deepak Chopra. We will teach meditation techniques for grounding & centering to the present moment. The present moment is the door to the soul and it is only from the level of the soul, Chopra contends, are great leaders created.
Living Niyama’s Workshop
The Niyamas (internal discipline) are yoga principles that govern the process of prioritization. The Niyamas, or observances, guide us into self-study to explore whom we are.
They are:
· Sauca – Purity, Cleanliness
· Santosa – Contentment, acceptance
· Tapas – Zeal, Austerity, discipline, persistence and right effort
· Svadhyaya – Self-study
· Isvara-pranidhana – Devotion to a higher power, dedication to the highest
Introduction to Pranayama Workshop
Pranayama is two Sanskrit words loosely translated to “controlling/extending life force”. In Pranayama we learn to control the breath. Pranayama exercises reduce anxiety, reduce stress and improve autonomic and higher neural control function. Pranayama can improve overall health and wellbeing by improving cardiovascular health, reduce hyper tension, improve lung function, detoxification, and improve immune system.
